Carlos Perez is a world-class guitarist who has been awarded top prizes in notable major international competitions, winning first prize in: 'Alirio Díaz', Venezuela; 'René Bartoli', France; 'Printemps de La Guitare', Belgium; 'Forum Gitarre', Austria; and 'Fundacion Guerrero' & 'Joaquín Rodrigo Competition', Spain.

He has issued 7 CDs, two DVDs, and has given recitals in more than thirty countries, and has played with orchestras all over the world.
