Produced by Triad Dragons & Global Dance, Denver’s open-air Red Rocks Amphitheatre is hosting a Global Dance Festival the weekend of July 18th. According to their website, the Global Dance Festival is the largest annual gathering of Electronic music fans in the surrounding Rocky Mountains, in the United States. Past performers include Tiesto, Paul Van Dyk Armin Van Buuren, BT, Paul Oakenfold, and Ferry Corsten. Flashy laser and art lights give a rocking atmosphere to the Global Dance Festival, as attendees are invited to dance the night away to their favorite electronic musicians. The festival features two stages, called Triad Dragons Main Stage and Destinations 2nd stage. The first stage will host artists Sasha & John Digweed, Benny Benassi, Markus ShultzJohn Debo, Kostas Dragon, and Trajikk. The second stage will host Alexgold, Mystical Influence, Hycloud, Fury, Manufactured Superstars, Kevin Alves and Paul Garcia.

Also, what would a Global Dance Party be without a pre-party AND an afterparty? The Global Dance Festival of Denver kicks off starting with a pre-party at “The Church.” The admission stipulations are 18+ for dancing, 21+ for bar access, no cover charge for ladies 21 and over, and free festival tickets will be given away. Behind the decks are John Debo, Dragon vs. Trajikk and Hycloud.

The Global Dance Fesival Afterparty polishes off Saturday’s dance events and goes until the party-friendly time of 6am. The afterparty will be at TWO AM in Denver with four stages, three levels for dancing and an outdoor amphitheatre area. 15 DJs will be spinning with Global Dance Festivals Headliners to be announced. Partygoers will also receive an afterparty discount if they present their Global Dance Festival ticket at the door. But hey! The party doesn’t quite stop there. You may have danced your toes off all weekend, but the Global Dance Festival is also hosting a Global Recovery Sunday Pool Party at Beta Nightclub after the main festival events have played out. Sunday’s Recovery party goes from 1pm to 9pm.

The Cost

Tickets are sold through Live Nation’s website (http://livenation.com). Tickets per person are $65, VIP access is $300, and closer-up rows 2-6 go for $150.
