Lunch & Dinner

Denver diners looking for a quick power lunch will enjoy Gumbo's top dinner items at reduced lunch rates. A choice of several gumbo dishes, including their best-selling Chicken & Sausage Gumbo and a delectable Seafood Gumbo are natural favorites. All lunch and dinner dishes are served with Gumbo's ciabatta bread and their signature butter spread.

For dinner, try the crisp-bottomed Crab Cakes or the Oyster Rockefeller—highly recommended as a warm starter. A few notable dinner items include:

Gumbo's best-selling Sweet Potato Catfish: Grilled catfish topped with tasso ham mashed sweet potatoes, oven glazed and served over herb garlic cream sauce and sauteed baby spinach, then topped with crabmeat.

Tenderloin George: Tender angus beef alongside a red wine-and-pepper sauce, topped with sautéed crabmeat and a Béarnaise sauce).

A few other dinner items that may perk up the taste buds are the Jumbo Shrimp (fried, grilled, blackened or pan-sautéed) and the Rainbow Trout (stuffed with shrimp & crawfish). The favorite dessert at Gumbo's is clearly the Chocolate Soufflé bread pudding with cinnamon ice cream.

Gumbo's Happy Hour specials include $4 martinis, half-priced beer, discounted wine, and free cups of gumbo with a cocktail purchase (weekdays 2pm-6pm).
