Healing Traditions Oriental Medicine is a Colorado based acupuncture clinic serving Denver, Lakewood, Littleton and surrounding areas. We practice traditional and ancient methods of Acupuncture, Herbal Remedies, and Chinese Medicine, as well as Asian Bodywork; a massage therapy form of acupressure or reflexology.

Acupuncture is often referred to as a form of alternative or holistic medicine. These modalities actually derive from traditional and ancient Chinese medical practices. Chinese herbs along with acupuncture were in use 3,000 years ago, and western drugs became a more recent alternative.

Acupuncture, massage and Asian bodywork for pain relief or pain management is a method of treatment shared today by Eastern and Western cultures alike. In this sense, one could argue that acupuncture and Ancient Chinese Medicine is an earlier form of medicine, and more recent methods are an alternative to the traditional approach. In any case, natural healing through acupuncture is fast becoming an integral part of Western health.
