Guide to Arvada

Located just seven miles from Denver, the City of Arvada is a quaint area filled with parks, open space, multiple recreation and city-centers, and a generally community-oriented nature that makes it a popular settling place for families. Historic Olde Town Arvada is a cute, bustling area filled with boutiques, cafes and restaurants, and its proximity to the RTD Light Rail station makes it easy for locals to head to downtown Denver or for Denver folks to head out for a shopping-filled day trip. Each year, the Historic Olde Town Arvada Association hosts the Gold Strike Festival, a celebration of Arvada's mining history. The two-day event in June includes local live music, a celebrity dunk tank, a vintage car exhibit, and over 30 booths. More
