Guide to Aurora

The city of Aurora is situated just east of Denver still within sight of the snow-crested Rocky Mountains. Once a provincial farming community, Aurora has become one of Denver's largest suburbs and a city in its own right. Two award-winning school districts, parks, golf courses, numerous historical sights, shopping, and entertainment destinations make this an idyllic destination for everything from settling down to relaxing day trips. Neighboring the Metro Denver area, Aurora has a high bar to reach to entertain its residents and accommodate visitors. The Aurora Fox Arts Center—a restored 1940s style movie theater—the Aurora Symphony Orchestra and the Aurora History Museum provide cultural amusements while the Aurora Mall, a 5-acre dog park, multiple golf courses and two reservoirs offers recreation and shopping. Every summer, Aurora also hosts an Asian Film Festival in collaboration with the Denver Film Society. More
