Guide to Broomfield

In the 1950s, after farms had dotted the landscape for about a century, developers decisively created Broomfield to be a "dream community." Broomfield boasts 66 miles of trails, more than 700 acres of developed parks and 45 playgrounds, all with a magnificent view of the Rockies. The Broomfield Community Center offers activities from Women's Basketball Leagues to Senior Softball and Youth Volleyball. To add to the city's appeal, the Broomfield Event Center was the first step towards the Arista Project, a commercial-residential-entertainment district. Flatiron Crossing Mall, located just off Highway 36, is not only filled with premium retail, but is also surrounded by shops and restaurants, and is complete with a twelve-screen movie theater. More
