City Park neighborhood is based off the 320-acre, picturesque park to the east of Denver’s downtown and backyard to East High School. City Park hosts quite a lot of activity, as some of the Mile High City’s most popular attractions like the Denver Zoo, Museum of Nature and Science, City Park Golf Course, and Voodoo Doughnuts all live in this neighborhood. It’s also one of Denver’s most popular and busiest urban parks close to downtown.

A lot of the residents in this area have lived here for years, and you can tell just how much family history plays a part of City Park. To the south of the park are a series of lofts that tower well over the rest of the neighborhood and give residents quite the view of the park, downtown and the mountains. Central to the park and neighborhood is a pond where visitors and residents can go paddle boating, feed the ducks, or simply take in the scene of the skyline pinned against the mountains. Plenty of transportation allows you to get to and from City Park without even needing a car, as there are plenty of bus routes and bike paths around City Park and the surrounding neighborhood.
