Guide to Louisville

Louisville, the teeny town six miles east of Boulder and 25 miles northwest of Denver has been on various lists of best places to live in the country through the years. In lieu of these accolades, one might expect the population of Louisville to skyrocket, but The City of Louisville assures this will not be the case as there is little room for residential growth. But those who already live there are enjoying the amenities that made Louisville such an applauded destination: 1,700 acres of open space, optimal housing, and first-rate public education. The 275 days of sunshine per year doesn't hurt either. The Louisville Cultural Council consistently offers musical performances, plays and movies to residents and visitors. The Louisville Center for the Arts on Grant Avenue hosts art exhibits, classes and a handful of other, culturally related activities. More
