Sipping + Sewing
When: December 19, 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Where: Beryl’s Beer Company, 3120 Blake St, Denver, Colorado 80205
What: Marma Designs and Sewing School is hosting this beginner’s class for those who want to learn how to use their machine while having a beer or two. The class will make drawstring wine bags, which you can gift with that bottle you got for your bestie! It is BYOM (Bring Your Own Machine), but fabric and supplies are provided with your ticket. Check the Facebook event page to see an example of the wine bag.

3rd Annual Homeless Christmas
When: December 19, 7:00-10:00 p.m.
Where: Meeting in front of Independence Plaza on the corner of 16th & Arapahoe St.
What: The Burger Guys Ministries is hosting the third installment of Homeless Christmas. While they offer Denver’s homeless a cheeseburger and cup of coffee every Tuesday night, they’re inviting everyone to join them while they add gifts this Tuesday. Art, Lager, Cider, and a Cause: Hurricane Maria
When: December 19, 5:30 p.m.
Where: Rackhouse Pub, 2875 Blake St, Denver, Colorado 80205
What: On September 18, Dominica was devastated by Hurricane Maria and is still struggling to recover. Seven Six Seven Relief has been collecting water, food, and supplies in Colorado and shipping them to Portsmouth, Dominica. You can help their efforts by attending this pop-up art show and silent auction with 100 percent of the proceeds going to help Seven Six Seven aid Dominica’s citizens. There will be art, music, and of course, C Squared Ciders and Bierstadt Lager.
Cost: Two nonperishable items or $5.00 donation
