What: Enjoy the musical stylings of Scott Uhl while you enjoy happy hour drink specials from the Teller Bar in one of the most beautiful lobbies in Denver. You have your choice of $4 cans, $4 drafts, $5 Colorado cocktails, $6 glasses of wine from Sutcliffe Vineyards, $7 specialty cocktails and a variety of snacks.

Jazz Monsters II

What: Get ready to swing the night away with some of the biggest names in Denver’s Jazz scene. Mercury Cafe’s Swing Nights is hosting the Jazz Monsters, which consists of Joe Smith from Joe Smith & The Spicy Pickles, David Lawrence of La Pompe Jazz, and Jeremy Mohney. If you want to improve your Lindy Hop, there are classes beforehand, starting at 6:00 p.m.

Cost: $10.00. Classes are $10.00 each or $15.00 for both

Hello? Denver? Are You Still There? Ep. 2: Gentrification Part 1

What: Bree Coco Davies is back for Episode 2 of her live podcast “Hello? Denver? Are You Still There?”. She’s diving right into one of the biggest issues facing Denverites: gentrification. There’s a reason this is part one–we have a feeling she could make eight parts and still have more to talk about. Her guests for this round are educator and St*pleton community leader Dr. Gregory Diggs, and community organizer and philanthropist Tony Pigford. Listen to last month’s podcast here.
