If you mean business about living in an elite neighborhood downtown, look among the taller corporate buildings downtown Denver to find the Central Business District (CBD).

The CBD is the main financial and commercial neighborhood, but don’t let its reputation for being all business fool you — the District’s upscale, higher-end condominiums house roughly 10,000 residents. This area of the city is bordered by LoDo, Five Points, Capitol Hill and a few other downtown neighborhoods. The buildings and area are easily accessible by walking or biking or taking the light rail, however parking can be challenging. Make sure to pay attention to the parking meters and parking lots in this area (if you can find any vacant ones).

The neighborhood is central to all other neighborhoods and things downtown, from sports venues like the Pepsi Center and Coors Field to attractions like the Convention Center and Denver Center of the Performing Arts, as well as parks and recreational areas. Restaurants, bars and fun things to do are all within walking distance. The 16th Street Mall, the Pavilions and Larimer Square are home to plenty of local and chain shops, a movie theater and even a bowling alley.
