The northeast side of Denver was once separated by the Denver International Airport in Stapleton and were for the most part neighborhoods that most didn’t seek after. To the north of Interstate 70 are two major neighborhoods worth mentioning; Montbello and Green Valley Ranch.

Close neighbors are Five Points, Stapleton, as well as wolves, elk, deer and bison in The Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge.
